Webquests

I really like these webquests. There seems to be a tremendous amount of work involved in creating one of these. I really like the webquests that are made for the smaller kids, but since I am a high school teacher, I might as well do something in my field. I did see something on the 1920s that was really cool and seems that a lot of time was spent on it. I actually do something similar to the webquest, but it is in paper-form. I would consider using these for future lessons if it works out. Besides, my students love to work on the computers in the media center.

I'm glad you were able to find a webquest that you like. You can always combine the webquest with the activity you've done previously. Kind a pick and choose thing!

I agree..the webquests are great! It's amazing that people put these things together for all others to use! I'm enjoying doing a snake webquest for first graders...it's really neat!

Anthony,
It does seem to involve a great deal of work to create a Web Quest, but there are a lot already made for elementary which are good.
High School kids would love to do their own.

Webquests are really wonderful! I did mine on Egypt because one day I want to go to Egypt on a cruise. I saw the King Tut exhibit last summer at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. It was breathtaking.
